Election time is coming!

We are sending out this call for board member volunteers one last time. We have had some people step up to throw their names in the hat, which we are so pleased about! But just in case any of you missed the other notices we wanted to give you a chance to join the ranks. Anyone may run for any position. All you need to do is being a paying member. If you are not currently a paying member but would like to run for a position, simply send a check for $25 to Cyd Rowley at 317 Pinewood Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20901.

The Board meets about 4 times a year and we are looking forward to an exciting new year. There are five general board member positions, two of the seats are already filled by incumbents, but you can run against them. The current Chair-Person, Vice Chair-Person, and Treasurer have all served their terms and the positions are vacant. There is an incumbent in the Secretary's position, but feel free to run against her.

The election will be held some time in September, so let us know as soon as possible!
